I started eating lunch alone in my car at work last month and my afternoons feel different
At my office in Tulsa I used to eat at my desk with Slack open, but after two weeks of 25 quiet minutes in the parking lot I noticed I stopped snapping at people by 3pm, so now I'm wondering who else has a weird lunch habit that actually helps.
I used to roll my eyes at people who went and sat in their car for lunch. Seemed lonely and kinda sad to me. Now you've got me thinking about the snapping thing, because I do the same desk lunch with Slack pinging the whole time and by 3pm I'm ready to bite someone's head off. Maybe there's something to just sitting in a quiet box for 25 minutes.
