Found the leak in my air mattress by accident with a spray bottle of soapy water
I was sleeping on a slow leak for 2 weeks and could not find it with my ear or by feeling around. My wife said her dad used to check tires at his shop in Boise with dish soap and water. I mixed a teaspoon of Dawn in a spray bottle, pumped the mattress up, and sprayed the whole thing down in the living room. A little bubble patch bubbled up near the seam valve in about 10 seconds flat. What random tricks do you all have for finding stuff you cannot see?

Spray soapy water on anything with a pinhole leak, it works every time. Dish soap bubbles up fast at the spot where air is escaping, so you don't have to guess. Just dry it off after or the soap leaves a sticky film.
