The $12 gym membership trial showed me I hate gyms, but I still paid for it
I signed up for a week at Planet Fitness in Austin after my buddy swore it would fix my back pain from sitting in the van all day, and honestly the loud music and waiting for machines made me more tense than when I walked in. But instead of canceling, I kept the membership because I figured one bad week wasn't a fair test, and now three months later I've gone exactly twice and feel dumb every time the charge hits. Has anyone else stuck with something they knew was wrong just to prove a point to themselves?
Honestly "what are you trying to prove" hits hard cause I used to roll my eyes at this stuff too, then it actually changed my mind. Ngl once you see it yourself you can't unsee it.
