My boss offered me a promotion that would mean moving to Phoenix, and I was set to say no until I saw the salary bump.
It was $25k more a year, which would let me finally pay off my student loans. Has anyone else taken a job they didn't want for the money and how did it turn out?

It's a data entry role at a healthcare company. The work itself seems mind-numbingly boring, just updating patient files all day.

Actually find that kind of work pretty calming sometimes. You get into a rhythm, and there's a clear task to finish. In my experience, seeing a big list of files get updated and organized can be really satisfying by the end of the day.
