Hit 800 credit score last week... didn't think it would feel this big

Idk why but 800 always seemed like this magical number I'd never reach. Been hovering around 760-780 for like 3 years. Finally checked Credit Karma on a whim and there it was. 802. Feels weirdly validating after all those years of making payments on time and keeping balances low. Did anyone else have a milestone that surprised them more than expected?

Hitting 800 really does feel like a big deal though. Did your score just kinda 'catch up' eventually? Because that's what happened with me. I was hovering in the 760s for like two years just doing the same old thing, and then one day it jumped to 810 without any big changes on my end.
