Shoutout to my old boss for a simple piece of advice about a job offer
I had to choose between a safe, boring office job and a risky property management gig, and I was so scared to pick the second one. He just said, 'You can always go back to safe, but you can't always go for new,' and that made me take the chance. Has anyone else had a boss or mentor say something short that just clicked for a big choice?

That's a solid piece of advice. What kind of risk scared you the most about the property management gig? For me, the fear was always the unpredictable hours and dealing with tenant emergencies at 3am. Was it the financial instability or something else that made you hesitate?
