Hit 63% utilization on our last pour and the boss thinks that's a win
We finished a 400 yard foundation pour over on the east side last Tuesday and the daily log showed our pump truck sat idle 63% of the time. I've been saying for 8 months that we need to stage the rebar crews differently but nobody tracks idle time on paper so it just looks like we're busy. The concrete supplier billed us for 3 extra hours of standby and that came out to $1,850 that we basically lit on fire. Anyone here actually using telematics on pump trucks or am I yelling into the void?
