Hit the exact same odometer reading my dad did on his old truck 20 years ago

I rolled over 186,445 miles on my F-150 last week, which is the same number my dad's truck stopped at before he sold it back in 2004. Kinda freaked me out honestly, like is there something baked into these numbers or just wild luck? Has anyone else hit a weirdly specific milestone that lined up with a family member?

Man that Jason Lewis guy with the 222,222 and the expired registration sounds about right for Tacoma luck, I had a buddy with one that always broke right before a trip. But your dad's truck thing is wild, I had a similar thing with my grandpa's old Chevy C10 that clicked over 143,000 miles on the day he passed away back in 2010. I was just driving it to get parts and the odometer caught my eye, made me pull over and sit there for five minutes thinking about it. It's probably just coincidence but it feels like something bigger, you know? I still got that truck in the back of my property, it's dead now but I can't bring myself to scrap it.

Old trucks are like bad roommates that you still miss.

My 2001 Tacoma hit 222,222 miles right when I forgot to pay the registration, typical.

Whoa that's wild! I actually read somewhere that humans are just really good at finding patterns even when there aren't any, like our brains are wired to notice stuff like that. But still, hitting the same number as your dad's truck feels like more than just random chance.
