Had a weird power issue on a customer's gaming PC in Tempe yesterday

The system would boot for about 10 seconds then die, and I was sure it was the PSU until I noticed the 24-pin connector wasn't fully clicked in on the motherboard. Pushed it in properly and it fired right up, saved me from ordering a new part. How often do you guys find the simplest fix after jumping to a more complex diagnosis?

Classic lmao. Happens way more than you'd think. Reminds me of what @ellioth37 said about the power switch, it's always something dumb. Spent a whole afternoon once on a no-post, swapped everything, and the ram just needed a proper reseat. You go straight to the worst case in your head, but half the time it's just a cable or something not sitting right.

Oh man, I saw a tech video where a guy spent hours on a build before realizing his front panel power switch was unplugged. It's always the little things.

Wait, hours? Ngl that's brutal. I'd be so mad at myself.
