Pulled off a CGC signing event without losing my mind
I was at the Comic-Con in Portland last month coordinating a CGC witness table and a customer's book got mixed up with another stack. I just walked over calmly, matched the submission forms to the signatures, and handed it back in under 5 minutes. Has anyone else had a close call like that at a signing?

2 Sharpies in 10 years of doing this and I swear they multiply when you're not looking. @cora518 organizing by artist is like alphabetizing your spice rack by color - looks great until you need cumin. I once spent a whole convention untangling a stack that got shuffled during a fire alarm. Almost 45 books and I had to match them all by memory of which customer smelled like stale coffee.

Last time I tried organizing my comics by artist instead of title it took me three days to find anything again.

My friend Dave runs a small shop in Eugene and he once shipped a CGC submission to the wrong person entirely. The guy who got it opened the box, saw it wasn't his, and mailed it back within a week. Dave had to drive two hours to Portland to hand deliver the correction to the actual owner. He still double checks every label with a red Sharpie now.
