Oh man, is a slightly leaky pad really worth all this hand-wringing? I mean yeah that sucks waking up on the ground but you got what you paid for, right? For 25 bucks you probably could have just brought a yoga mat and some cardboard and had the same experience (or maybe not, I don't know). Honestly I'd just toss it and call it a lesson learned, or maybe try duct tape if you're feeling ambitious. It's not like you're on some serious expedition, it's Shenandoah in summer (full of families and day hikers).
