I thought the whole 'comic book movie' thing was just a fad back in the early 2000s.

I remember seeing the first X-Men movie in 2000 and thinking it was a one-off. Now, after seeing how these movies brought so many new people into our local shop in Austin, I get it. Did anyone else think the movies would hurt the comics, only to see them help?

But did you ever worry the movies would make the comics feel less special, only to find they made them feel more real to new readers?

Funny how that works, max_torres44, like my nephew asking for Spider-Man comics after the cartoon.
