Just compared flood coolant to mist on a 6 hour aluminum job

We ran the same part on two identical Haas VF2s, one with a full flood system and one with a high-pressure mist. The flood machine's finish was flawless, but the mist setup left a slight haze and used way less fluid. The difference in cleanup time was huge, about 45 minutes saved on the mist machine. Is the perfect finish worth the extra mess and maintenance for you guys?

Wait, what does the customer's spec sheet actually say?

Right there with you @lily167, that spec sheet is probably a total mess. Seen so many where they ask for a blue widget but the technical drawing shows a red one. Or they list a deadline that's physically impossible to hit. Makes you wanna pull your hair out trying to figure out what they actually want built.
