Took me 5 years to admit car covers actually work
I kept my 67 Mustang in a old barn outside Nashville for years and refused to use a car cover cause I thought they'd trap moisture and ruin the paint. Then after a bad winter with tons of dust and bird droppings I finally caved and bought a basic indoor cover from Covercraft for about 90 bucks. Has anyone else been stubborn about something storage related and later realized you were totally wrong?

Bought one five years ago and just now realized my car is basically a greenhouse.

wait jennifer833 are you saying it actually traps moisture?? bc I have one too and now I'm lowkey worried about rust spots forming on my hood. I bought mine from a flea market stall and it seemed fine at first but then I noticed some weird fogging under the cover after a hot day. I just figured it was my car sweating from the humidity or something. honestly I feel dumb for not checking the air pockets inside sooner, like now I'm scared to take it off and see what's underneath.
