Oh wow, I wish I'd known this before I ruined my last microplane! Frozen ginger is a total game changer for sure. My kitchen cleanup just got way easier.

But microplanes cost like five bucks at the hardware store. Seems like more hassle to remember to freeze ginger first than to just rinse the tool right away. Is the cleanup REALLY that bad?

Yeah, it's that bad. The fibers get stuck in there and it's a pain to scrub out.
