Update: I used to believe all therapy was a waste of time
About six months ago, I was sitting in my car outside a coffee shop in Portland, crying after a fight with my sister. I'd always thought talking to a stranger couldn't fix real problems. That day, I called a therapist my friend recommended. I've had 15 sessions since, and it's helped me see my own patterns in arguments. I was wrong to dismiss it. Has anyone else had a similar experience with changing their mind on getting help?

Glad you gave it a real shot and it worked out. I was pretty skeptical too until I tried it a few years back. It really does help you see things you miss on your own.

Totally agree with @hollyl25. Having that outside view can save you a ton of time.
