Just learned fiber optic lines have a 25mm minimum bend radius
Found this out from an old training manual I dug up in my truck from 2018. Has anyone else been getting away with tighter bends on drops without issues?

I got away with 20mm on drops before, but it kept cracking after a few months.

Heard from a guy at the hardware store that the issue is usually the magnets shifting with thinner builds. Said anything under 25mm on a heavy drop gives the magnets less room to stay put. Might be worth bumping up to 25mm to get them to hold longer without cracking.

oh man @grantp14 might be onto something there, but who am i to talk? i once tried a 15mm drop and the magnets basically threw a party and left town after two weeks. the cracking thing kept happening to me too, and i finally figured out it was probably my flimsy build quality more than the thickness. maybe the magnets just got bored and cracked from lack of entertainment? either way, i feel your pain - spending months on something only for it to fall apart is the worst feeling.
