Just realized my new watercolor wash wrecked my monthly log

I tried a light wash with a cheap watercolor set for my July spread, and the paper warped so bad my pen skipped for days. Now my habit tracker looks like a sad, bumpy road. Has anyone found a way to flatten pages after a watercolor mess?

What kind of paper were you using in your planner?

That "sad, bumpy road" is a perfect description. Avery_flores17 is right to ask about the paper, because most planner paper just can't handle a real wash. You can try pressing it under a heavy stack of books for a week, but the buckling is usually there for good. I stick to light pencil shading now, or just accept that some art experiments end in permanent texture.

Look at my planner and ask what paper it is. It's the cheap stuff they glue in there, the kind that dissolves if you look at it funny. I've accepted that my watercolor dreams live on a different, more expensive planet.
