A simple trick for cheaper flights I think people miss

I keep seeing friends book trips for a Friday to Sunday weekend. In my experience, flying on a Tuesday or Wednesday can cut the price by a third, maybe more. I just got a round trip to Denver for under $200 by leaving on a Tuesday morning. The airports are also way less crowded, which is a nice bonus. Has anyone else had luck with this, or found a different day that works better?

Forget trying to save money on a Tuesday flight, that trick is totally overrated. Most people have real jobs that don't let them just take off midweek whenever they want. You end up burning way more vacation days just to save a few bucks, which isn't worth it at all. The weekend is for relaxing, not stressing about getting back to work on a Thursday after a rushed trip. Plus, trying to coordinate with friends or family to travel on a Wednesday is a complete nightmare.
