Paid $75 to join a book club that only read one genre and I lasted 2 meetings
Dropped $75 on a yearly membership at a local club here in Boise that turned out to read nothing but WWII history. I like WWII books fine but 12 meetings of nothing else got old, and the last one turned into a shouting match about whether the atomic bomb was justified. Is it worth asking the group to mix in some fiction, or do I just eat the $75 and walk away?

My buddy Dave did the same thing in Portland, bailed after 3 meets.
