Yeah my buddy skipped his furnace check last winter to save cash. That little choice cost him four grand when the heat exchanger cracked in January. Sometimes safe enough just is not good enough.

Just get it checked every fall before it gets cold.

Hold up, safe enough is a gamble with a boiler. That pressure test is there for a reason, to find a weak spot before it finds you. Saving a few bucks now could cost you your whole house later. Why risk everything for a shortcut?
