Walked into a board game cafe in Portland and changed my mind about party games

Saw a group of 8 people crying laughing over Wavelength. I always thought party games were shallow filler. Has anyone else had their opinion flipped by watching strangers play something?

Used to roll my eyes at party games honestly, always figured they were just noise... but watching a table of grown adults absolutely lose it over guessing a number on a dial? Yeah that changed my mind completely.
