Back in the day, our game nights were fueled by cheap chips and soda.

When I first started hosting board game sessions, we'd just grab whatever snacks were on sale. Now, everyone brings homemade dips or artisan cheeses, which is nice but feels different. Do you think the fancy snacks change how we play or just what we eat?

Right, @julia_chen51, and now everyone takes forever on their turn because they're wiping cheese off their fingers.

Those fancy snacks totally shift the vibe, don't they? Cheap chips meant nobody cared about crumbs or greasy fingers while grabbing for cards. Now with nice cheese boards, it feels like we're all a bit more careful and proper. Do you think the whole night became more about the social gathering than the actual game?

Classy snacks turn any chill night into a performance.
