Started watching Severance last Tuesday and finished it Sunday night

I went into it totally blind, didn't know anything about the plot. My coworker just said "trust me it's good" and that was it. By Wednesday I was staying up until 2am because every episode ends on a cliffhanger. The show completely changed how I think about work life balance after seeing season 1. Has anyone else had that moment where you just can't stop watching even though you have stuff to do?

Ngl, I'm the opposite - I actually think the show's message about work-life balance is kind of overblown. Honestly, most people WANT to escape their personal lives for 9 hours a day.

Three out of four people I know would trade their paycheck for just one peaceful day at home.

Guessing not everyone @betty_kelly9 has a home life that feels like a sitcom where they need to escape. Real messy families and boring jobs don't always work out that cleanly. Think the show's just trying to say something about burnout, not that every hour at work is a magical vacation from bills and drama.
