My quiet morning coffee became my truth time.
I used to put on a happy face as soon as I woke up, even when I felt low. Then I saw how much energy I wasted hiding my real mood. For example, I'd chat cheerfully with my neighbor while secretly dreading the day ahead. So I stopped pretending during my first coffee and just sat with whatever I was actually feeling. Some days it's worry, other days it's calm, but it's always real. This small change made me less exhausted from faking it all the time. Now, when I smile later, it sometimes comes from a honest place.

Yeah I used to be so stressed about having a perfect career path. Then I started doing freelance work and realized I could pay my bills with way less stress. The freedom to take a random Wednesday off completely changed how I see work lol. It's not about the title anymore, just making enough to live my life.

Honestly I spent way too much time trying to plan my life like a corporate ladder. Now I'm just happy if I can afford groceries and see my friends on a weeknight. Guess my five-year plan was mostly for stressing me out.
