I saw a sign at my local credit union about a 'skip a payment' fee
I was in line at the Mountain View Community Credit Union yesterday, just zoning out, when I read a small poster behind the counter. It said the fee to skip a single auto loan payment was $75. I always thought that was a free service they offered as a courtesy, but it's actually a revenue thing for them. It made me wonder how many other small fees I've never noticed. Has anyone else been surprised by a fee they didn't know existed?

Yeah that's wild. I remember seeing a $35 "paper statement fee" on my credit card bill once and I just sat there staring at it like why is this even a thing. Makes you wonder what else they're sneaking in there.

My friend got hit with a "convenience fee" just for paying her bill over the phone. It was like twenty bucks. Where does it end?
