PSA: That new stone tool find is not as groundbreaking as they say

I mean, everyone's acting like it changes everything, but we've seen similar stuff before. Maybe it's just me, but calling it a 'breakthrough' feels like hype over real science.

These big claims come out every few years in archaeology. It often turns out to be a smaller step forward, not a huge leap. The real proof will be in what other experts find when they look at it.
