Yeah, it's like tech is always pushing for more engagement without caring how it actually hits you.

Man, that used to seem like a cool feature to me. I figured it was nice to see old happy pics. But then my phone popped up a photo of me right after I got some really bad news, my face was just wrecked. It totally killed my mood for the whole afternoon. Now I get why that would hurt, getting blindsided by a bad memory like that. They should really let you turn that off for certain dates.
