My first solo crane-assisted removal went smoothly

Remember when we had that close call with the fence last summer? I mean, the operator was just spot on, talking through every move like baker.willow said. Idk, it was such a relief when nothing got scratched. We had to squeeze between two trees, and everyone was holding their breath. Maybe it's just me but that kind of focus from the operator makes all the difference. You just don't forget moments like that, you know?

Update: Began verifying my soldering iron heat with a separate meter

Ugh, isn't that the worst? I totally cooked a board once because my iron was actually way hotter than it said, fried a tiny chip right off. Makes you just want to check the temp first thing every time now.

TIL I can chat with cats in my dreams and it's totally normal there

Think about how your brain is still half-asleep when you first open your eyes. That foggy feeling can make even the best advice from dreams slip away fast. For example, I once dreamed a fix for work stress but lost it by the time I brushed my teeth. @violah43, your tip is key, but what if we're too groggy to remember? Maybe keeping a notebook by the bed lets you scribble it down before it's gone. Do you find some mornings are worse for recall than others?

After a gust tipped my load, some say I pushed too fast, others blame the weather report.

Notice how this happens everywhere. Skip changing your oil to save time, then your engine blows. Patch a roof leak poorly, you get water damage inside the walls. That load tipping is the same deal. A short delay to wait for better weather costs less than the wrecked cargo, the machine damage, and the full day lost cleaning it up. Bosses often see the stopwatch but miss the whole clock.
