Robotic trash trucks are now a common sight on my morning walk

Our city just introduced robotic trash trucks that pick up bins without a driver. It's a big change from the old way, and I wonder about the future. What do you think about robots taking over such jobs in your town?

How do the robots deal with bins that are put out in the wrong spot? My town got automated street sweepers, and they had to add sensors to avoid parked cars. The city moved old staff to repair jobs, which cut complaints about lost work. It's quieter now, but you still see a human supervisor driving behind to check.

So do they just leave bins that are in the wrong spot?

Guess the supervisor's job is just following a robot now, huh @anthony_perez41.
