TIL a quick warm-up for your hands before using impact tools
My fingers were getting stiff and sore from running grinders all week. An old timer told me to squeeze a stress ball for a few minutes first thing in the morning. It gets the blood flowing and really reduces that ache by lunchtime. Simple thing, but it made a big difference for my grip strength too.

Why bother with all that extra stuff before you even start? @taylor.reese talked about his buddy doing circles, but I've worked with crews who jump right in and never complain. Honestly, your hands just adapt to the tools after a few hours, and a stress ball feels like wasting good minutes. The real trick is keeping a steady grip, not prepping like it's a gym session.

Watched my buddy do wrist circles before drilling concrete.

Honestly, that's a PRO move right there. I've seen guys skip warming up and then complain about sore wrists for days. Drilling concrete is no joke, it kicks back hard. A few circles can save you a lot of pain, trust me.

That whole debate about skipping warm-ups is wild to me. Tried powering through once and my wrist was messed up for a week. Now five minutes of circles and stretches is non-negotiable before any real drilling. The vibration from that concrete will get you every time if you're not loose. Feels way more controlled and way less painful afterwards, simple as that.
