After a failed business, should you go all in again or take a safe job? I chose wrong.

My last business crashed hard. Lost everything. Had two options: take a steady warehouse job for $18 an hour or start another moving company from scratch. I picked the safe job. Hated every minute for 8 months. Felt like I was hiding. Now I'm back to starting a small moving crew with one truck and a lot of fear. Which choice has worked better for you after failure - safety or diving back in?

Was the steady job that bad or was it just hard after running your own show?

Gotta push back on that a little. The issue wasn't just the contrast, the job itself had some real problems from day one. Was it really all about "getting used to it" or more like the place had its own set of red flags that nobody wanted to admit existed?

Honestly @wood.faith, I'm gonna disagree a little here. From everything I picked up in that thread, the steady gig had some legit issues that'd frustrate anyone, not just someone used to being their own boss. It wasn't just an adjustment thing, sounded like the place had some deeper problems from the start.
