I used to think electrolyte drinks were just expensive sugar water for marathon runners. Then I started getting these awful headaches around 2pm every day at work in Austin. My coworker kept pushing me to try the LMNT packets she drinks. I finally gave in after three weeks of Advil not touching the headaches. Tried one packet in my water bottle and the headache was gone within 20 minutes. Turns out I was just dehydrated from the Texas heat and my office AC. Been using them for two months now and I barely touch coffee anymore. Anyone else have a simple fix they ignored for way too long?
I saw this PT video about backwards walking for joint health and figured why not. Did 10 minutes at a slow pace last Tuesday and my knees actually felt less stiff the rest of the day. I thought it was some gimmick but my usual knee pops after sitting didn't happen for like 5 hours. Has anyone else gotten relief from doing weird treadmill stuff like this?
I've been dealing with intense brain fog, severe fatigue, and unpredictable mood swings for the last few months. I strongly suspect it's hormone-related (maybe my estrogen levels are off?), but it's taking a massive toll on my mental health at this point. Does anyone know of a good clinic that does thorough hormone testing and replacement, but also has experience with the mental health side of things?
