That one morning my chronic back ache DISAPPEARED completely

I've had this nagging back pain for years, and then POOF, it was gone when I woke up. No new mattress, no exercises, nothing. It's been weeks and it hasn't come back. This HAS to be some kind of glitch, right? Our reality is buggy for sure.

Nah, maybe it was just a good sleep.

Wait but how does that even work then? Victor_Lee is kinda right about bodies being weird, but sometimes it's not just inflammation calming down. I read that your nerves can get stuck in a pain feedback loop for years, and then something random in your sleep, like your spine lining up just right, can finally break the cycle. It feels like a glitch but it's probably your wiring finally doing a hard reset.

The "glitch" idea is fun, but bodies are just weird like that. Sometimes long term inflammation or a muscle knot just finally lets go on its own. It's not a bug, it's your nervous system and muscles finally calming down after years of being ticked off. Happened to my knee once after a decade, just stopped hurting one day.

Read a thing about how fascia, that connective tissue wrapping everything, can get dehydrated and stuck. It can take years for it to rehydrate and slide properly again, which might suddenly release an old ache. Makes the "glitch" idea sound a bit more real, like a physical tape finally coming unstuck. Bodies are less like machines and more like weird, damp sponges that remember every bad thing you've ever done to them.
