My plan for a community garden got buried under zoning laws.
I mean, the paperwork was a nightmare that never ended. Maybe it's just me, but I still feel that system exists to stop good ideas.

Found getting someone on the phone was the only way. Called the planning office every day until a clerk took pity and walked me through the forms. Still took forever but at least it moved.

That clerk who helped Joel must have been a lifesaver. What specific part of the forms made you want to give up, like the worst section?
