Classic rock blunder during a vinyl plank installation

I was putting down vinyl planks in a big living room recently. The homeowner told me they would be out all day, so I turned up my radio. I got really into a classic rock song and started singing along loudly. Out of nowhere, the client walked back in to grab a forgotten item. They heard me belting out the chorus at full volume. I turned bright red and stopped right away. We both laughed a little, but it was super awkward. Now I think about using headphones to avoid this. Do you guys have stories like this from your jobs?

Wait, you were using a radio and not headphones in the first place? That's wild!

Totally get the radio thing! Honestly, @lunafox singing out loud is way more chaotic to me.

My old workshop had terrible reception, so a cheap FM radio was the only thing that worked. Headphones were a safety hazard with all the power tools running. @kaiw45, it sounds odd, but that little radio was a lifesaver during long build days. The battery lasted forever, and I could hear it over the saws without worrying about cords getting caught.

You actually sang loud enough for the client to hear? @kaiw45's radio thing is nothing compared to this.
