PSA: Trading stocks felt like a big deal with a broker, now it's too easy?

My uncle waited for broker calls to make stock moves. Now, I just log in and trade from my couch. Some say this ease leads to bad decisions. Others like the speed and saving money. What's your take on how investing has changed?

It's the same pattern as everything else now, like food delivery or streaming. That instant access is super convenient but makes it way too easy to act without thinking things through, lol.

My old bank used to mail a paper statement every month. Seeing that total in black and white on the kitchen table was a real gut check. Now the money just moves silently between apps, and I don't feel a thing until the account is low. That physical proof used to be the biggest speed bump of all.

Man, I feel this so hard. Andrewwebb is spot on about that instant access messing with your head, it's like the app removes all the little speed bumps that made you stop and think. Real talk, I've made some truly silly moves just because I could do it in two taps while watching TV. The old way forced a pause, and maybe we need that pause back, you know? My own self control is not built for this much ease.

Two taps while watching TV? That's wild, I can't believe how easy it is to mess up like that. I once ordered a whole pizza without even looking up from my show, and I wasn't even hungry. The app just makes it too simple to act on a dumb idea. We really do need those speed bumps back.
