Hot take: I think the 60/40 portfolio mix is outdated advice now

I followed that rule for a decade, but after rates started rising in 2022, my bond portion kept losing value. I've shifted to holding more cash in a high-yield savings account for my 'safe' money. Does anyone else think the old rules need a serious update?

Wait, you stuck with that for a whole decade?

Man, that's nothing. I knew a guy who kept the same flip phone from 2005 until they literally turned off the 3G network.
