inMy buddy at the bar last night said the moon landing footage was faked in a studio, and his 'proof' was the flag waving. I looked it up when I got home.
My cousin tried to tell me the astronauts couldn't have taken pictures because the film would have melted. He read it on some forum. The cameras were specially built and the lunar module wasn't that hot. It's another thing that sounds smart until you look it up for two seconds. The amount of wrong info out there is just frustrating.

inThis old guy at the supply house in Toledo totally changed how I see my title block setup
Reminds me of the time my uncle tried to fix his own roof.

inMy old boss told me I was pricing jobs like a scared kid, not a business owner.
Hold up, @oliverhernandez, a whole separate fee just for problem solving? That feels like putting a fancy name on what you should already be charging for. Isn't the whole job basically solving problems? Like if you're fixing a website, the "fix" is the service. Adding another line item seems like a quick way to make a normal quote look confusing. Maybe the cheap clients left because the bill just got weird, not because they were bad.

inAppreciation post: I finally switched from a magnetic tray to a silicone mat for screws
Totally get the mat thing, it's a game changer for keeping track of parts. My version of that was finally getting a decent set of screwdrivers with magnetic tips. Spent years fighting with screws that just wouldn't stay on the driver, felt like an idiot for not fixing it sooner. @evakelly is right about the headlamp too, that hands-free light makes a huge difference for seeing tiny screws. Just having the right basic tools makes any repair job feel way less like a fight.
