Appreciation post: Hit 1000 feet of vinyl fence in a single day

Had a three man crew on a big subdivision job in Henderson and we just kept moving. The key was pre-assembling all the panels in a staging area before we even touched a post hole. Anyone else find that method saves more time than you'd think?

Pre-assembling the panels first, did you run into any issues with alignment when you got to the actual posts?

Actually, lining them up on the ground first made the posts way easier to place.

Okay but "way easier" is doing a lot of work there. How much time did you really save versus just putting the posts in and then attaching the panels? It seems like an extra step that could just overcomplicate a simple job.
