Serious question, is a fabric's 'hand' more important than its technical specs on paper?
I had a design fall apart last month because I picked a 'superior' twill based on the spec sheet, but it just felt wrong when I started draping it (like, stiff and weird). My teacher in design school always said to trust your hands over the numbers. Anyone else run into this?

Ugh, totally! The hand is everything, specs can lie. What did you end up using instead?

Check how it feels in your pocket too.

That pocket test is a life rule, honestly.
