Rant: I just read that the average woman's closet holds $550 worth of unworn clothes, according to a survey from Good Housekeeping.
That fact, which I found in a magazine at my dentist's office, makes me think we should design more clothes that people actually want to wear, not just buy.

My closet is basically a graveyard for bad sale decisions.

Hold up, I'm totally with wyatt_mitchell26 on this one. Those sale buys aren't a graveyard, they're a treasure chest you haven't opened yet. Every weird shirt is a chance to try a new look you'd never pay full price for. That "bad" decision might be the perfect thing for a costume party or just a lazy Sunday when you don't care. It's not dead clothes, it's just options waiting for the right day.

Wyatt's "bad sale decisions" line is real, but for me it's not about the clothes being bad. My unworn stuff is for a person I'm not anymore, like clothes for an office job I quit or a style I grew out of. The clothes were right once, but I changed.
