Hit up a local firm's website yesterday and noticed something weird

I was looking for a lawyer for a family thing and landed on this one site in Edmonton. First thing I saw was a 30 second video auto-playing. Loud. In a waiting room full of people. Killed my phone battery too. Then I tried to find their address and it took me 3 clicks and a scroll. The contact page had a form but no phone number listed. Felt like they cared more about looking fancy than being useful. Maybe I'm old school but I just want quick info. Any other pros see this trend with legal sites around here?

Right, the Google Maps embed thing is a solid point... even that would be better than nothing. But yeah, that form with no phone number just screams "we want to collect your info before we even talk to you." It's like they're trying to filter out people who aren't serious enough to jump through hoops. And the video... bet it was some generic stock footage of people shaking hands or typing on laptops with that slow piano music. They probably think it makes them look modern but it just wastes my data and annoys me. If I'm in a waiting room or on my lunch break, I don't want to hunt for basic contact details like it's a treasure hunt. Seems like they're designing for other lawyers or for themselves, not for the actual client who's stressed out and needs help fast.

Right? It's like they're hiding from their own clients.

Honestly ask if they even had a Google Maps embed or just that form. That's a huge pet peeve for me. Like, tbh if you're a local firm in Edmonton and your contact page doesn't have a simple phone number in plain sight, what are you even doing? I'd be curious to know if the video was actually relevant to the law stuff or just some generic stock footage with a piano track. Ngl feels like they're trying to impress someone who's not actually looking for help.
