How a wedding rabbit made me give up on magic for good

That wedding disaster proved to me that quitting can be the right choice, despite what people say.

Honestly, sometimes you just have to accept that a thing isn't working (like a wedding rabbit gone wrong) and walk away. I've been there with event planning problems, and forcing it usually makes everything worse. Calling it quits can save your sanity, even if people give you grief about it.

Yeah I read somewhere about the sunk cost thing, like how we hold onto bad ideas just because we already put time into them. Walking away is legit smart.

My friend spent 3 years on a business plan that was clearly failing. He kept going just because of the time he put in. It was brutal to watch. I totally agree with @murray.jana about walking away to save your sanity. The sunk cost thing is real. Letting go of a bad idea frees you up for something that might actually work.

Wait, but sometimes you push through and it turns out amazing. @murray.jana, I get that forcing things can backfire, but giving up too fast means you never see if it could have worked. Real magic might just be sticking with the messy stuff until it gets better.
