Found my old eco-village blueprints while cleaning the attic
I made these plans for a green community when I was younger. Every building used solar power and caught rainwater. But I never found the right spot or team to start it. Now, they just sit there, a reminder of dreams that did not come true.

Man, I get where they're coming from, but sometimes a dream just doesn't fit your life anymore. Looking at old plans can feel sad, but it doesn't mean you failed. People change, what they want changes, and that's okay. Holding onto every single old idea can just weigh you down.

Those dreams didn't come true yet, those plans can still happen.

Honestly it's wild how many people just drop their plans at the first little problem. I see it all the time, like someone will have a cool idea and then just give up because it got hard. @the_pat is right to point out that stuff isn't over until you say it is. Most things worth doing take way longer than you think they will, it's like waiting for a slow microwave. You gotta keep that dream on low heat and just let it cook, you know?

Ugh, this is so true. I used to scrap projects the second they got messy. The trick is to break it down into stupid small steps, like "open the laptop" small. That way you're still moving forward even on bad days, and it doesn't feel like such a huge mountain to climb. You'd be surprised how much gets done just by doing the tiny next thing.
