I spent $80 on a tile saw blade that was complete garbage

Last month I grabbed this cheap diamond blade off Amazon thinking I was being smart saving 40 bucks over the brand name ones. First cut through a 12x24 porcelain tile and it started wobbling like crazy, then chipped the edge on every single tile after that. I ruined like 3 tiles before I gave up and drove to Home Depot for a proper blade. Anybody have a go-to blade brand that actually holds up for porcelain?

...and that's exactly why I stopped messing with cheap Amazon blades for porcelain. You gotta look for blades with continuous rims or turbo rims, not the segmented ones. My go-to is the MK Diamond blades, they hold up way better and don't wobble even on thick porcelain. I've also used the DeWalt XP blades that have that laser welded rim, they stay true for dozens of cuts before you see any chip out. Spend the extra cash once instead of buying two or three junk blades like I did.

So you're telling me my "grab bag special" blades from the bargain bin aren't built for million-dollar porcelain? Shocking. I learned that lesson the hard way too. Halfway through a kitchen backsplash my blade started sounding like a dying lawnmower. Thought I was gonna lose a finger. Ended up with chipped tiles and a burned-out motor. Now I'm that guy who brings a spare blade to every job just in case the first one gives up. It's like buying cheap tools just costs you double in the end.
