Hot take: power tools vs hand tools for cutting trim, which side are you on?
Last Saturday I spent 4 hours hand-sawing baseboard for my hallway after my miter saw died, and honestly the cuts came out cleaner but my arm is dead. Is the precision worth the time, or am I just being stubborn about going cordless for everything?

Did you try clamping a speed square to the trim as a guide? That's what finally got my cuts straight enough that I stopped caring about the cordless debate.
