Wait, you actually finished a whole basement drywall job? I mean, that sounds way harder than it looks.

Yeah the "way harder than it looks" part is so true. Everyone focuses on hanging the sheets, but the taping and mudding is where it gets brutal. In a basement, the mud takes forever to dry between coats because of the cold and damp, so you're just waiting around for days. Plus getting those seams flat on an old ceiling is basically impossible.

If it's still wet from 2019, @karens12 was right about basement mud never drying.
