Hot take: automation tools are making us lazy, not efficient

I used to manually tweak every email campaign for each segment, spending like 3 hours per send. Now I let the tool handle it and I'm wondering if I'm missing something big. Is quicker always better, or are we losing the personal touch that actually converts?

3 hours per email campaign"? Wait. You spent three hours every single time on one send? That's insane. No wonder you're fast now. You were drowning in busy work before. But here's the thing - if the tool is doing all the heavy lifting, you're right to wonder if something got lost. That personal touch isn't just fluff, it's what makes people click. I've seen campaigns that felt like a robot wrote them and they tanked hard. So maybe automation is fine for the boring stuff, but you still gotta eyeball that final result before hitting send.

@knight.dylan Yeah bots make people feel ignored, but some automation is fine as long as you review the final email yourself.

It's like everything's going that way now. People automating conversations with customer service bots and then wondering why nobody feels heard.
