Stumbled upon my old digital art from college and the progress is insane!
I was cleaning out my old computer files and found a digital sketch I made back in 2008. It was created with a simple paint program and a regular mouse, which made drawing details really hard. I spent hours trying to get the colors right without any blending tools. Now, I work with a drawing tablet and advanced art software that has so many cool features. Sharing art back then meant posting tiny images on niche forums with few people seeing them. These days, platforms like Instagram let artists reach a big audience with crisp, full size pieces. It's wild to think how much easier and more fun digital art has become. I love being part of this growing community!

My first drawing tablet was a Bamboo Fun in 2007, and the pressure sensitivity Blew My Mind.

I had a Wacom Graphire 4 around that same time. That first feeling of pressure sensitivity really was like magic... makes today's tech seem normal.

Funny how different people see it. That old tech feels like drawing with a brick compared to today's screens and lag-free pens. We've got tilt sensitivity and palm rejection that actually works now, which changes everything. Calling it 'normal' undersells how wild it is to have this much control in your hand lol.

Remember reading about how early stylus tech used springs? Makes that brick feeling make sense.
